I was quite fond of Battle Damage: Code Red for SFB. Still got my original deck stashed with my older version rulesets

Nice work. To address the less than optimal decisions by the Andromedan captain, you could simply add a comment to that effect, e.g. "some of the decisions made by both sides might be regarded as erroneous and we encourage you to see if you can do better than the historical commanders."

Falls in to the "if you want to play SFB, then play SFB" category for me. I have no problem with that, btw, being a player since I got the Designer set for Xmas "when I were a lad". FC is so much quicker & easier, which makes finding opponents a lot easier.

FC avoids the Optional/Advanced ...

Everything purchased has been rated. If you want more ratings, you'll have to put more things on e23. :D

Don't forget all those ships that stopped production, reached end of mainline service and went in to mothballs or to the National Guards. Then got fished out again, converted, refitted, mothballed, transferred...

As I've previously stated, I'm happy to have laminated cards reprinted in ePacks. I haven't got many of the boosters as we play small battles so I don't need lots of cards. The only ones I have bought are ones where I really wanted the new ship.
Being able to print and laminate myself an extra WE ...

I thought the ePacks were (initially at least) going to be new ships/variants that weren't already printed cards. KE, WE, BH & SN are. That changed?

Anyway, how about the 2x Pl-S rather than 1x Pl-R WE?

Two six packs would be better I think.
Depends a bit on what's going to be in them, e.g. a run of NCA, CW, DW variants for each empire would mean everyone got theirs quicker, rather than the Feds get all theirs, then the Klingons, etc.
If it's a bunch of random ships, then either way is fine by me ...

Here are 12 new, non-laminated Federation ships that can easily be used:
BCP, CB, NAL, OCA, CLC, LTT, CLH, DWD, FBD, FFD, FFL, PFF.

This does add in the "heavy command cruiser" class, but it is inevitable that this class will be introduced, so why not?

Doesn't have to be inevitable. Steve just ...

Re: Just played my first game...

Third: Impulses. Impulse-based games certainly take a while to get used to if you haven't played with them before, and keeping track of which impulse you're in takes some work, but I do like the flexibility it gives you in the ability to fire at any point in your movement.

I have reported it to SVC and Leanna. With e23, I understand you will have access to the updated file (as soon as Leanna finds out what happened).

Thanks for letting us know to check on it and we're sorry for any inconvenience.

I appreciate the comments guys. I'm aware of the desire to keep FC simple (hence, power is power) and the need to keep the pressure on the Andros (being a lapsed SFB player, I had a lot of fun fighting them in the past). This pressure relates to how much power and space he has available in the ...
