Just bought RA, and so can answer my own question now!

I'm looking at buying RA or KA from E23, and I'm wondering if I buy the RA ruleset, do I need to purchase the KA rules as well?

I am also a strict dry-erase man, and those markers with the little eraser type pad on the end are just perfect, as mentioned before.

Purchases complete! I ended up getting both KA and RA, as well as Distant Kingdoms. I saw W&P, but the Andromedeans just don't do it for me...

Since every game I have played so far has been me teaching it to someone else, I have played exclusively in fleet scale so far. Can't wait to have a return opponent so we can deal out the Squadron scale goodness!

I have the reissue Zocchi ships coming for Christmas and will probably attempt painting this weekend. These are my first starship minis. I have painted minis for a long time, but mostly fantasy figures.

Do I need to basecoat the plastic ships, or can I get away with leaving the white plastic ...

There was one called "Final Frontier" when the ship was under Robert April. The Enterprise is flung by a warp accident far into Romulan space, and end up hunted by the Romulan fleet. I rmember liking it a lot and wonder if I still have it somewhere..

Is there a limit to the number of shield boxes you can regenerate in a turn, or is it just limited by how much power you choose to spend on it?
