I understand these two products (Advanced Operations and Planetary Operations) have been updated to the newer, better counter sheets with MORE and nicer counters.

Have the rulebooks been updated?

I've had my eye on this game ever since I tried it out at Origins 2011. I might have resisted its siren song, but then... I saw the 2016 update for Fighter Operations at my friendly local game store. "Wait a second... they've redone this module so that there's more counters?" Seriously, the biggest ...

My plans are to move the campaign to a face-to-face format. I tried to get a PD game together at a convention early this year, but it got cancelled due to sickness. (I did get to try ACTA:SF , I ran FASA Doctor Who , and got to play Paranoia , though ...

Also... my son has noticed that our ships lack the triangle insignia.

Working on my Gorn fleet.

I saw that people were selling stickers to go on the bases. I also heard that the size of the bases have changed. I don't think I will play ACTA... so maybe I don't need stickers. But I saw that someone put hexes on their bases. I suppose FedCom sized hexes would be the ...

I'm going to start with just one HDD.

Step one: wash with soap and water

Step two: super glue warp engines in place (is that right?)

Step three: wait for warmer weather to prime

Step four: paint base hull color of ________ (probably some kind of grey?)

Step five: paint weapon ports, etc.

I feel the inverse of that sentiment; perhaps we should meet up sometime before the next big purchase, too.

My son is blown away by the detail on the Gorn. He can totally see the difference between these and other lines of figures... and he's only nine.

Everything in the box looks good, but I don't think the cover image matches what's inside-- I can't find the 3 HDD's on the cover for example. My fleet ...
