A close reading of the rule doesnt support the rulling.
3D2
The attacking player can resolve each volley(3A4) in any order she chooses but must resolve one volley before moving on to the next. Systems (eg shields, batteries) destroyed by one volley would not be available to protect the ships ...

Hmm... somebody needs to email me about this "speed 24 in the opposite direction" thing and I'll deal with it in BoM-1.
Where would the email go?
The 2 turn effect is particularly devistating.
Turn A imp 8 range 8 12 fighters fire drones at ship X
Turn B imp 1 range 8 1r fighters fire drones at ...

You only get 1 crack at them is a problem, also if a fighter gets in to range 8 the drone WILL hit. It doesnt matter that the target is going 24+ in the oppisite direction. This can creat a problem for most ships, even fleets ability to deal with drones

There isnt a product Borders of Madness, the title refers to SFB items that are not in FC. They are found in CL or Comuniques, and are as SVC says a way to induce SFB players to play FC.

My personal preference would be to see the BPV of Lyran ships increased to reflect the improvements in the ESG in FC vis SFB.

Also, I'd suggest re-costing the (refitted) Dragoon at about 130 BPV.
The ESG range limit makes it much less useful for anything more than defence. It happens that the ...

Most LDR ships would have a job on to fire all weapons and move much in a single turn due to power demands. However, because they have such a variety of weapons to fight at any range, most of which are about the best you can get at any given range, the LDR don't need to fire all weapons in a turn ...

Chuck and I were talking about this after you left. He thinks you should have went with the 2 turn plasma F to keep me at a longer range and try and pin me in to the corner and force some hits. I dont know if that would work.
Having played the LDR I find the CW to be undercosted. The power curve is ...

If the Dragoon had its Stingers, then it's out-pointing the D5W by about 30%. They cost 10 points each, they aren't free.

The Klingon needs to get into overload range and stay on one side of the Dragoon. You'll be firing all of your disruptors every turn (due to your incredibly good arcs) and ...
