Awesome! I'll see if I can stir up more people around the area to join in. Maybe rotate locations so we can get a bigger audience.

I really should look to start this up again. Looking through all my stuff again makes me want to play more.

Hi there. Yah, we will have more meetings. My wife is dealing with recovery from surgery so I haven't been able to post more times. Once things settle down more for me I'm sure we will have more going on.

I agree. You should pay for X amount of impulses and be under the effect for exactly that number of impulses, regardless of a turn break. You could then pay again on the impulse you were about to stop to keep it up again. The required impulses should begin counting from the impulse you began EM ...

I think it would go more like this now:

Sensor Officer: Captain, the Federation ship has loaded photons and is closing within range
Captain: Helmsman, keep range over 50,000 kalakams and weapons, prepare to fire overloads. We will veer off after fire.
Sensor Officer: Captain, Federation appears to ...

Interesting...if the original tractor counted as negative tractor to the new attempt things might have changed (not that anything was really affected anyways).

Of course, killing the tractor on the ship leads to some interesting tactics with drones.

I love the idea of the folding top. I might have to look into something like that. Could make it fit on the table I have and just fold out for more room.

Your account had used too much bandwidth and I couldn't download the file. Looks like it reset again and I got it now.

I think this is a good change. It is not changing the fact that the PPD is going to use all the pulses in a single impulse. This only changes the die-rolling mechanic and it makes the resolution quicker for the weapon. The PPD is still going to have advantages over the SFB version with or without ...

Well if your Klingon friend keeps staying away from you then play more scenarios with fixed maps. A Fed will most likely lose in open space if the Klingon stays at range. No competent captain will stick around for that and will just pack up and leave unless there is a reason to stick around.

One ...

We didn't play it wrong...was just a scenario thing. No crew and no marines on the freighters and it sped things up to just have the first one on there take it over. I'm sure we could have used the casualty thing but there really wasn't anyone to fight to begin with :D

Awesome photos Will! Thanks for posting them.

The scenario was a lot of fun and turned out much better than planned. Have to come up with something just as fun for next time.

Using the Minis really helps bring the game alive.
