They came that way from a sealed box. I had sent an email (two actually, I hadn't discovered the Kzinti when I sent the first) to support@starfleetgames.com. Should I send one to Leanna in addition to this? If so, what is her direct email?

Thanks!

I thought about trying to pin the boom, but factoring in the steadiness of my hands (or lack thereof) as well as my eyesight (or lack thereof for things that detailed) as well as how thin the boom is, I think that would fail miserably in my case.

I guess if I can't get the models replaced, worse ...

Border Box #2 Woes

I brought Border Box #2 with me to work today to do clean-up and gluing of extra bits. I got to the Klingons and discovered the neck of one of the D5Ws was snapped off right in the middle. After about 10 tries, I finally got it to stick, at least for now. However, with enough glue to hold it, even ...

I'm in Southern California (Orange County). I found two others on the Commander's Circle near me, but have not received a reply to my emails yet.

I've downloaded FCOL, but haven't actually tried it yet. It's certainly not my first choice, especially since I've been buying/painting the miniatures ...

Ground Zero Games from the UK makes some 6-fighter (or whatever) bases that are pretty cool. The stand is a hex base with one pole in the center, then it has a 6-armed flight stand that sits on top of the pole. I couldn't find a picture of it on their website, but if you go to their site and ...

Quite a few are in DOC format, yes, but he's also got quite a few in the graphic PDF format, and some more that are not finished. If getting them hosted acted as an impetus for him to finish the rest, all the better. And he did email them to me. However, it seems it would be easier for the average ...

StarFighterAce Decal Guides

Would it be possible to get the rest of the decal guide PDFs from Mark put up on the miniatures page of the starfleetgames.com site? They are fantastic both for showing where the decals go (or painted, if someone is insane), but they also work great as additional painting guides to go along with the ...

Armed Priority Transports

What is the paint scheme supposed to be on the Armed Priority Transports? Are they a 'whatever you want' like freighters, or are they factional?

I already made up my own. It's a full page (01-04 for each class). I put every designation I have, that's in the mail or that I'm likely to get in the near future. Works like a charm!

Thanks again for the idea!

That's awesome, both in its ingenuity and its simplicity! You wouldn't happen to still have the .doc file(s), would you?

Barring that, is there a consolidated list somewhere of all the ship classes and variants (D7, D7A, etc.)? I'm not an SFU expert and don't know what's out there. I could use the ...

Yeah, I got it using your method (minus the dremel). The RoyalHawk has slightly mis-aligned PL-R now, but...they're facing the front! Mostly... :)

Oh, the cuts from the exacto weren't on the models...if only!

Um...what's the best solvent for Zap-a-Gap?

After this whole thread and looking at a bunch of pictures, I still put the nacelles on the RoyalHawk and the NovaHawk backwards (and add two cuts from an exacto trying to get them off)...

Serves me right for trying to do it at work...
