Hey Jim,
Since you have email addresses for previous participants, maybe send an email reminding people that another tourney is coming. Sometimes people forget and don't visit the forums often. Would be nice if we could get closer to 8 at least.

Also, sign me up for a pair of D5Ws. Pretty sure I can make a fight of it with them.

Yep. I sent out an e-mail on Saturday to those who previously participated, have not signed up and are likely not aware of my postings here.
I also posted to the Consimworld and BoardGameGeek forums on Saturday.
There was a hint about in Hailing Frequencies, but I didn't post the announcment in time for it to be covered as nicely as I would have ideally liked (but appreciate what Jean or Steve did picking it up).
Facebook and Talkshoe are the only two bases I have not covered.
Eight would be nice, but we can make six work.
A bunch of folks are a lot busier now than they were about a year ago (e.g., Mojo Billbo, Paul Scott, Garrett, etc.). _________________ Jim Dauphinais, Chesterfield, MO

Jim, Strongly recommend that in the future you only post the empire that someone is choose, not thier ship selection. I can envision people (certainly not "MEEEEEE") : ) taking advantage of that information for their own fleet selection. _________________ Once again I have proven that even in the future, your photon torpedoes are built by the lowest bidder.

The problem with that is that I am playing as well. I considered this in the past and decided to go down the route of full disclosure as I get submissions. Nobody is under the obligation to submit their squadron early. _________________ Jim Dauphinais, Chesterfield, MO

I withdraw my comment, sorry to badger you. Thanks Jim. _________________ Once again I have proven that even in the future, your photon torpedoes are built by the lowest bidder.

Yeah, I'm (Reptilicon) 7th player
Not sure what empire I will go for. I would take Gorn at 1.0 if they could use EPT's.
I think I have an eighth player lined up now as well, working out the details.

The Vudar and ISC are not in play in the tournament. Their weapon systems do not currently function properly in the FC Online client.
Aa Tournament Rule #3 states:
Only the Federation, Frax, Gorn, Hydran, Klingons, Kzinti, Lyran, Orion Pirate, Romulan, Seltorian, Tholian or Wyn may be selected as an empire by a player. The LDR may not be selected as an empire. The Frax may not select Submarines or ships with Axion Torpedoes. The Seltorians and Tholians are restricted to their Milky Way Galaxy weapons.
I would really, really like to see the ISC and Vudar weapon systems in the FC Online client fixed to work properly so that we can start using them in online tournaments. _________________ Jim Dauphinais, Chesterfield, MO
