I am usually a luker more than a poster, but since my request was granted for SFBF to have its own Forum here, I figured I would ask a poll to contribute to the new forum.
I don't use optional rules for most games. I generally try to play Advanced Rules without Optional Rules for the different games I play (makes it easier to play with others sometimes if everyone is on the same "official" rules), but ocassionally Optional Rules are just too good to pass on.
I am interested in the Optional Rules for SFBF you use the most and/or your favorite rule.
Tell us why you like it so much, and why the rest of us should play with the rule.
Note: I couldn't fit all of the different rules in the poll, so I tried to use the one I thought people used the most. |

We in Battlegroup Murfreesboro try to avoid optional rules whenever possible.
That being said, we do try to use every "official" rule out there, including advanced rules.
In a 4 or more player game however; we will use the Player Order cards - just to liven things up. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

I think that the ability to draw to the top card of the discard pile adds a lot more to the game. For example, if you just used a reinforcement card, you have to discard something to keep the opponent from getting it. In my opinion, it also makes the game more realistic. |
