Shortly before Origins 2009, I thought of a way to create an adapter that would turn a Federation NCL and a Federation tug pod into an LTT. I proposed this piece to SVC, who agreed to take a look at the final piece and possibly add it into a master mold if there was room.
I based the design on the connector for the NCL>NCA lower engine. I presented the piece to Steve at Origins. After looking at it, he pronounced it good - but requested that a metal pod be created and added to the adaptor, truly making it a one piece conversion.
I created a metal replica of the standard Federation cargo pod in brass and green stuff and attached it to the adaptor. This is what the final piece looks like:

When attached to a Federation NCL - yes, it will be the same as the ship card. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
