I got a starship named after her
[the frame was my idea and a few bucks at the store].
She thought it was sweet, but wants to know when it gets signed by Cole and Petrick. I told her "At Origins, someday".
Next is to do some decals up for an Aux-CA mini to match and have the ship on the game board someday. _________________

ALright, Will... now you're making me do it.
My wife's cert is in a shadowbox along with the kit-bashed ACX. I'll photo it this weekend and upload. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Oh boy! I see another revenue stream for ADB...
I can just hear SVC's voice on the radio commercial now...

We have actually be doing those (as a joke) for a year or so.
We originally announced it (as a joke) for $29.95 but I don't know what Leanna charges now. Not much. She usually just emails people a PDF that people print at Kinkos. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

When I ordered it was $2.
Mine actually showed up laserprinted on nice paper (included in a larger order of CapLog and minis I made). There were two versions actually, one with just her first name (which is all I stupidly put on the order form) and one (correctly) using her first and last names. As usual, Leanna is smart enough to see through male mental limitations. =) _________________

If you ask for the printed copy, she sends it. Most just ask for the PDF. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Are those names going to be printed in The FC rulebok that holds the WYN aux cruisers under known names?
Also, if it's a WYN ship then why does it say USS? |

Because other than us "uber-geeks", no one else would know what WCS stood for - but everyone knows "USS" _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

One might wonder about the state of a relationship in which the partner making the purchase asked for the spouse's name to be used as a code-name for an Andromedan Dominator...

WYN Cluster ships are named after females... and you can only get the standard Auxillaries named after a spouse /SO; so that means the aforementioned double entendre' cannot be applied in this case.
Sorry.
But, if you want to see how mauch fun can be had with the standard "Name a Ship for your Spouse", check out this thread and look at the WCS Evey! _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Actually, I didn't think of the double entendre - I was thinking more in terms of the overall balance of egos within a given relationship!
I should have stuck with the Devastator, after all... _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Not yet. Other things have taken precedence... but it's still on the list of things to do. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
