|
So, over the holiday I got around to building and painting a few miniatures. Here's what I've got so far, with several more just needing some decals.
A classic Federation CA. The USS Saratoga.
My kitbashed DD using a Zocchi Tug saucer and nacelle. The USS Pompeii:
incomplete
completed
A Federation Strike Cruiser. The USS Daedalus. This one has some cobbled together decals from an NCA, and a CA.
An NCL. The USS Groton from the 6th Fleet defending the Romulan Border before the invasion in Y173. I used the old style text for the name, registry, and engine pennants since this ship was very new at the time. _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

Very nice work.
Nice clean edges on all your paint work and the decals look fantastic. |

The "Saratoga" looks really good!
Did you paint the name/NCC stenciling, or did you use a decal? |

Excellent work.
I've tried to get the decals to look good and pretty much gave up on them. I can't seem to get them placed right on the Federation ships...which is why mine are either plain or have leftover 40k decals on them. |

I wish I had hands that steady or the tools to make that detailed of a stencil, but it's one of Mark's decals. _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

Wow! Those minis really look good. I, too, liked the Saratoga. Very clean. |

OGOPTIMUS good job on the minis!
What kind of paints do you use? The blue and yellow really stand out.
