Today's render is the first of the cargo-haulers I did for Shapeways, the "class 2" large freighter with skids (and a ducktail, which you can't see from this angle).

For today, here is the basic stock class-2 large freighter, without any of those skids or ducktails busying it up.

Been away from things for about a week. Here's the next post, the "great dragon of the Star Fleet Universe" the giant and formidable Klingon B-10 battleship.

Today's ship is the one of my personal favorite SFU ships, the beautiful Klingon C-8/C-9 dreadnought. I love the lines on this ship, particularly the boom - such a great extrapolation of the D-7 into something new and bigger, but sleek in its own way.

Will, are you going to do smooth-hulled Fed ships, too, or will all the saucers have the grid lines on them?? _________________ Garth L. Getgen

I am working on smooth-saucer Federation ships on my other screen, as I type this. _________________

Today's ship is the D6S heavy scout, among the Klingon fleet's largest and best electronic warfare platforms.

That looks easy to modify into the D6D. _________________ Garth L. Getgen

Today's ship is the D-7 battlecruiser, the classic adversary ship for the intrepid heroes of tri-video. Specifically, the D-7B refit version, which adds some details on the rear face for the ADD rack and extra tractor beam emitter.

Today's ship is the workhorse of the Klingon Deep Space Fleet, the F-5 frigate.

By far, the best looking version of the F-5 too. |

Thanks. That one I really can't take credit for, as it was heavily based on the Mongoose mini (Sandrine Thirach did that one, I think). _________________

Yeah, she does great work. Too bad we can't get her involved in this project. Last I heard, she was doing designs for Mongoose's WW-2 navy game, no?? _________________ Garth L. Getgen

Sandrine is indeed a great talent.
Today's ship is the Klingon's small scout for small electronic warfare jobs, the F-5S scout frigate.
