When does this product come out? I originally thought July 1 but then heard end of August. What will the price be on the product when it comes out? As I understand it, both are going to be brought up to around General War era tech?

Latest word over on the BBS is October, but I wouldn't advise making any concrete plans until it actually hits the presses.
(The "Curse of Module C6" has been a difficult one to exorcise, it seems...)
The finalised ship list was posted over on the C6 development section of the BBS, and includes both "pre-war" and "wartime" hulls for the Carnivons and Alpha-Paravians, as they would have existed had each species survived into the "modern" tactical warp era. (So no first-generation X-ships are on the list.)

I had no idea of the issues facing this module, and I'm sorry to hear about SPP's health issues even more so than those facing the module. Hoping that it goes better all the way around for everyone and everything.
Well, I'm only one person but know that I'll be looking forward to when it comes out and will plan on getting my copy.
Thanks for listing all of the info _________________ My other car is a D7 BattleCruiser. |

The Paravians are done, and he's done 40 of the 65 Carnivons. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

That's looking pretty close to being done. I'm 'supposing' then that the next steps are printing and shipping? Is there a target date? _________________ My other car is a D7 BattleCruiser. |

The last target date I posted was October. Now I'm thinking maybe we can drag that up to 23 or 16 September.
He will use all of the week of 25-31 to finish SSDs, MSC, R sections, and Annexes.
Figure the week of 1-7 September to finish the scenarios and weapons rules.
16 September is (barely) doable, but since I'm taking the 17th off (and maybe the 16th as well) the 23rd may be a better guess. We'll see how it goes. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Is there any progress on the Carnivon mapsheet?
For those who haven't seen it yet, the Paravians already have Mapsheet P, which was previewed over on the BBS:
A similar map is set to appear in C6 for the Carnivon side of things, but would need more work (since it is said to extend into "new" hexes beyond the top-left corner of the Federation and Empire map). _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

I'll print the new map in the product, not post it on line. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

A new preview shows a glimpse of both the front and back covers.
I've been spending a fair bit of time with reading BattleTech books as of late, and I found it interesting that in this case, the "wolves" are the ones who have green counters, and the "birds" the ones in red. I am sure some in that other universe would prefer it was the other way around, quiaff?
On another note, this may not be the last time the Paravians are offered alongside a wolf-like species in SFB terms. One of the proposed "new empire" modules for Omega would offer those Paravians alongside the Vulpa and Nucians (who themselves are ethnically Vulpa). _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

SVC just posted this Carnivon map preview over on the BBS.
(The top map refers to a timeline where the Carnivons survived in their corner of space through to the start of the General War. The bottom map shows what might have happened had some of their forces made it to the WYN Cluster, and used it as a launchpad for a later round of conquest.) _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

SFB Module C6 is now up for sale on our storefront. It will ship on September 30 to people who order it from us.
http://store.starfleetstore.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=5636&Category_Code=SNWM
Historically, the Carnivons were destroyed by the Kzintis and Lyrans, while the Paravians were accidentally made extinct by the Gorns. What if they had survived to the General War?
This module includes 120 SSDs defining the ships they would have built, plus the rules for their advanced weapons and the battles they would have fought.
For the Carnivons, we provide two alternate histories based on actual events. The Carnivons almost united until the leader was assassinated. Two of their hordes were destroyed on the edge of the WYN cluster after considering a suicide dive into its radioactive walls. Either would have resulted in a real and very powerful Carnivon Empire that would have been unwilling to ally with either feline empire.
Paravian history also depends on a single leader, Marengo Firecloud Wildfeather, who (historically) tried to convince the other wing lords to stop raiding and start building colonies. Had he succeeded, the Paravians would have built an empire at the expense of the Gorns and ISC, and the ISC would never have become the peacemakers they historically were. While Marengo's campaign failed, he did build the remote colony of Wingatha, where those Paravians who survived the Gorn campaign gathered to decide their future. They could have built a world there and returned to raiding, but instead they headed for the Omega Sector.
Includes 122-page rulebook, 138-page SSD book, 280 die-cut counters.
